US News&World Report, an authoritative source for US university rankings has launched an auto ranking website in what seems to be an expansion move towards a general online ranking service.

Fox News Austin: CYCLISTS ARE THE PROBLEM!

A friend here in the office alerted me to this story on our local Fox affiliate (channel 7), which looks like almost nothing more than an outright attack on austin cyclists. Well, I would guess it's about 95% attack on cyclists, 1% reminder to drivers to "share the road" and about 4% lamentation on the lack of bicycle infrastructure.

Gameplayer editor Chris Stead has given readers an insight into the way the review system works behind closed doors, and in particular the way that publishers and developers have handled multi-format games this generation. He reveals a trend over the course of the last year which reveals that there has been a definite shift towards the PS3.

As we enter the age of digital books (and digital book piracy), a number of comic book artists have posted work online for free. In November, Avatar Press will find out how many people will buy a comic book they could have read online. As reported here, Warren Ellis has been publishing FreakAngels on a weekly schedule online. Next month, Avatar will publish Volume One of that series. Newsarama recently interviewed Ellis, seeing how the pace of online publishing affected his work. His quote
