KPMG Enterprise has officially "entered the den" in an exclusive arrangement with the CBC, and will be providing all facets of due diligence, transaction related services and other professional services to the Dragons for Season 3 of the CBC program Dragons' Den.

The Pragmatic Programmers, known for its line of programming titles in print and PDF form, have decided to shelve production of a planned book called iPhone SDK Development. In a news item posted to its web site, the company cited the iPhone SDK's non-disclosure agreement as the reason the book could not be published and made available to the public.

An 80-year old man, Pullan of Alma, AR, was sentenced to 100 years in prison on marijuana charges. http://swtimes.com/articles/2008/07/02/week_in_review/news/wednesday/newsPullan is a 2-time war veteran of the Korean War and Vietnam.In Arkansas, a Level 3 repeating sex offender would ONLY face a prison sentence ranging from 3 -10 yrs.

Filed under: GPS, Transportation We've seen some pretty extreme cases of excessive faith in GPS, but this may well be the first instance of the ill-advised practice nearly exactly repeating itself. As you may recall, earlier this year a Bedford Hills, New York man trusted his GPS so much that he apparently thought it was perfectly reasonable to follow the directions directly onto a set of train tracks. That didn't exactly work out so well, for his car or the oncoming train. Now, as The Journal
